8 The SQL Server Wire Protocol Driver

The DataDirect Connect64 for ODBC SQL Server Wire Protocol driver (the SQL Server Wire Protocol driver) supports:

Microsoft SQL Server 2005
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Service Packs 1, 2, 3, 3a, and 4
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Desktop Engine (MSDE 2000)
Microsoft SQL Server 2000 Enterprise Edition (64-bit)
Microsoft SQL Server 7.0

The SQL Server Wire Protocol driver is supported in the Windows, UNIX, and Linux environments. See "Environment-Specific Information" for detailed information about the environments supported by this driver.
