User Interface Toolkit Enhancements

The following enhancements have been made to IDL's graphical user interface toolkit in the IDL 7.1 release:

The WIDGET_BUTTON, WIDGET_COMBOBOX, and WIDGET_DROPLIST routines have a new FLAT keyword, which creates a button or list widget that appears "flat" rather than with the default three-dimensional appearance.

Note the following:

For the Combobox and Droplist widgets, the FLAT keyword has no effect on Microsoft Windows platforms.

For the Button widget, the FLAT keyword has no effect on buttons with text labels.
