File Access Enhancements

The following enhancements have been made to IDL's file-access capabilities in the IDL 7.1 release:

Read and Write CSV Files

IDLffDicomEx on 64-bit Windows

Read and Write CSV Files

Three new routines allow you to read, write, and query files in comma-separated-values (CSV) format:

QUERY_CSV

READ_CSV

WRITE_CSV

IDLffDicomEx on 64-bit Windows

The IDLffDicomEx object now allows you to access, read from, and write to DICOM files on 64-bit machines running Microsoft Windows.
