Visualizations View

The Visualizations view displays current visualizations created in iTools. The visualizations can be created programatically, on the command line, or via the Tool Palette.

Tip
For more information, see Using the Visualize Perspective

When you first open IDL 7.1, the Visualizations view displays links to the tutorial video and to the relevant online help topic:

As soon as you create an iTool visualization, this view displays thumbnails that represent the current visualizations.
This view also allows you to control visualizations. To bring a visualization to the front, simply click on the thumbnail. To close a visualization, right-click on it and select Close.
