Command Line

You can modify the following preferences on the Preferences → IDL → Command Line preferences page:

Enable syntax coloring

Set this preference to color text in the command line based on syntax.

Use system default (Background color)

Set this preference to specify whether the default system color should be used for the command line background.

If the Use system default check box is not selected, click the button to choose a different command line background color.

Configure Colors and Fonts

Click this link to change the command line text attributes. When you click this link, the Preferences  General  Appearance  Colors and Fonts preferences page is displayed.

Configure Syntax Coloring

Click this link to change the command line syntax coloring attributes. When you click this link, the Preferences  IDL  Syntax Coloring preferences page is displayed. See Syntax Coloring for details.
